For all you audio lovers with earbuds almost permanently in place, isn't it bliss to escape from our screen-saturated world and let your mind wander with just the power of voice?

Recent data from the 2023 Nielsen Diverse Intelligence series revealed that Latinos are really into podcasts. When it comes to news specifically, Latinos are 13% more likely than the general population to choose podcasts over other mediums. While there's an array of shows and films within easy reach, podcasts offer a multitude of choices. It’s estimated that 3.5 million Latinos are avid podcast news listeners.

The trend is recent, though. About half of Latino podcast fans have only been listening for about two years. What's more, a whopping 60% are broadening their audio horizons, indulging in a richer blend of shows and topics.

To mark International Podcast Day, we put together a list that can help further expand the breadth of the Latino podcast listening experience into new topics and new countries.
